It has been demonstrated that underslung cranes increase consumer movement and floor space. The EOT Crane is normally fastened to the already-existing roof structure; crane runway support columns are not required. The construction of independent steel superstructures also makes it possible for the solution to be adaptable to changing production demands. While they normally run on top of the gantry rails on most overhead cranes, the end carriages that hold the horizontal beam or girder are positioned below underslung cranes.
